The methods used for replacing teeth include:
- Dentures – Prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth. If required dentures are able to be made more secure by attachment to implants.
- Implants
- Bridges – Bridges are used to replace or span the place where one or more teeth have been lost. The replacement tooth is attached to crowns (a cap), which are fitted to the adjacent teeth. Bridges can also be attached to implants.
