Dr Mark Irwin

Dr. Mark Irwin is a member of the Australian Dental Association who has served on the Continuing Education Committee and Public Education Committee for the SA Branch. He is a past president of the Australian Society of Dental Aesthetics (SA). His keen interest in high quality care has been heightened by attendance at numerous national and international dental conferences including those of the American Dental Association, British Dental Association and European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. In 2009 he trained in implant surgery at the Brenner Institute Sydney. Dr. Irwin is regarded as an expert in the speech disorder of stuttering. He gives regular presentations at national and international meetings as well as to the speech pathology undergraduate class at Flinders University. This experience has given him an acute understanding of the suffering and management of patients with dental phobia. Outside dentistry Dr. Irwin’s interests are wide. He is a keen runner, hopeful golfer and avid reader of history, philosophy and psychology.
