Dr Peter Hell

casson_199With broad international experience, Peter has been in dental practice for over 20 years. He has practiced in the UK, where he undertook postgraduate restorative training at the renowned Eastman Dental Hospital, then worked in Vietnam and New Zealand before emigrating to Australia in 2004 to train as a Specialist Prosthodontist in Sydney.

Peter has developed a rare understanding of both the potential of traditional prosthodontics techniques and the value of the latest methods and materials. His particular focus is in assisting his patients to achieve what they desire from their dentitions, with modalities ranging from minimal intervention preventative strategies to enable long-term function through to high-end cosmetically optimal reconstructions. Dr Hell has a particular interest in Dental Implant Surgery, with a focus on surgery planned and executed to provide the optimal foundations for beautiful, functional replacement teeth.

We were fortunate to have him join our team. We welcome his enthusiasm and generous nature. Not only is he a talented clinician and teacher, but he also has a great sense of humour and is well liked by patients, referring dentists and other team members.

Dr Hell is active in the dental profession and is a regular invited speaker at dental meetings here and interstate. He is a former President of the Australian Prosthodontic Sociey (SA Branch) and has current membership with the: Australian Dental Association, Australian Osseointegration Society, Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontists. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Dr Hell is married and enjoys spending his time-out with his wife, Gretchen, daughter, Mirella and four sons Max, Sebastian, Harry and Freddie. Pete’s interests apart from his family and Prosthodontics include cycling, photography and travel.
